Physiotherapist, Sami Margo, revealed four everyday positions that can lead to back pain.
Margot said that these positions can lead to complex back problems in the future.
Leaning at the wheel
- Leaning over the steering wheel can have a negative impact on spine health.
- To protect your spine while driving, make sure your hips are back toward the seat cushion.
- Eye level should be above the steering wheel and the seat should be tilted back slightly.
Relax at the desk
- Try to sit with your ear, shoulder and thigh in line with your shoulders resting.
Stare at the phone
- Mobile phone should not be checked while walking.
- The screen should be looked at when it is at eye level.
Sleeping on the couch
- It can cause the spine to become abnormal.
- The best sleeping position is on the side, which supports the natural curve of the spine.
