The number of felt-earthquakes observed in Japan over the past week was high, though not as high as the previous week. Earthquakes are conspicuous from northern Japan to the Pacific Ocean side of eastern Japan and from Amami to Okinawa, and an earthquake in Noto, Ishikawa Prefecture continues.

There were 13 earthquakes with a seismic intensity of 3 or higher, and one tremor with a seismic intensity of 5 upper and one with a seismic intensity of 5 lower. (Tally from May 8th to May 14th at 10:00)
