“Allianz Lebensversicherung Ordered to Pay Disability Insurance Contracts by District Court of Passau”

The district court of Passau has ordered Allianz Lebensversicherung to pay out five disability insurance contracts to a policyholder after the insurance company had previously disputed the occupational disability of its policyholders.

Our client was a controller in a Dax company until she became disabled in 2020. When she fell ill and was unable to work and had her occupational disability confirmed by a doctor, she contacted Allianz Lebensversicherung and applied for benefits from the five occupational disability insurance contracts.
