Actress Grace Van Dien Leaves Acting After Suffering Sexual Harassment

After the premiere of the last season of Stranger Things, many fans were impressed by the character of Chrissy, played by Grace Van Dien, who, together with Joseph Quinn, managed to steal the spotlight from the main actors.

But, despite the fact that Netflix’s fiction could have opened many doors for her, actress Grace Van Dien recently announced her withdrawal from the series and acting after having suffered sexual harassment by a producer during filming.

That news was drastic for her fans who later found out that Grace is actually a well-known streamer on Twitch. Precisely, in one of her directs, the 26-year-old girl announced that she would leave acting to focus on her Twitch channel.

What proposal did you make to Grace Van Dien?

While doing a Q&A on a Twitch stream, the actress explained to fans why she’s turned down four film projects in recent weeks. “In one of the last movies I did, one of the producers hired a girl she was sleeping with and then asked me to do a threesome with them,” she denounced. “So that’s my boss. I didn’t do it and I cried, and she was very upset,” she added.

Grace has explained in past interviews that she prefers the world of streaming over acting for the sake of her mental health.

“I can stay at home and play video games and my boss doesn’t ask me to have sex with him. So it’s better for my mental health,” she said.
