“Belarusian President Lukashenka’s Absence from Public Events Raises Concerns”

The journalists analyzed Lukashenka’s schedule and came to the conclusion that in May he had almost no public events. The self-proclaimed president of Belarus has not appeared in public for the third day in a row.

As the newspaper notes, last month Lukashenka held several different events weekly. Anomalies in the routine of the Belarusian dictator just started in May, even before the trip to the parade in Moscow.

For example, if we take Wednesday, Thursday and Friday last week (May 3, 4 and 5), then Lukashenka’s website contains information about only one public event – the presentation of state awards to honored figures in various fields on May 5. Even then, the media drew attention to his hoarse voice. It looked suspicious, because Lukashenka quite often holds many hours of public meetings, including with journalists.

In general, in May, not counting the events by May 9, Lukashenka held only two public events: a meeting on topical issues of security and law and order and measures to protect the state border (it was shown only in the photo, but not in the video) and the already mentioned highest award. All other events on his site are a lot of congratulations and signings of documents.

“Thus, it can be stated that since the beginning of May, Lukashenka, with rare exceptions, has not appeared in public. What exactly this is connected with and what his state of health is now is unknown, since the press service does not comment on the issue,” the newspaper writes.
