“Tragic Mi-28 Helicopter Crash Claims the Lives of Both Pilots During Training Flight”

In the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reportedthat a Mi-28 military helicopter crashed in the Dzhankoy region during a training flight. Both pilots are reported to have died.

It is noted that the helicopter was performing a training flight and was without ammunition. The preliminary cause of the crash is a technical failure.

A commission of the main command of the Aerospace Forces was sent to the place of the accident to clarify all the causes and circumstances of the accident.

We add that the village of Svetloe is located about 30 km from Dzhankoy.
