The “not seen not taken” lasted only a time. A 41-year-old man was recently summoned to the Colomiers police station, in the suburbs of Toulouse, to explain himself about the 11,000 euros of RSA which he received between January 2017 and November 2018, while working as a temporary worker. From a police source, it was the CAF of Haute-Garonne which discovered “the pot of roses” to the detriment of the departmental council, provider of the RSA.
The investigation by the left bank general investigations unit of the departmental security showed that the suspect had knowingly omitted to declare his resources and to change his address with the organization.
The man has also recognized the fraud, agreeing to gradually repay the amount unduly received. He will also have to appear before the Toulouse court on November 20, 2023.
