With the end of the imbroglio that removed Cruzeiro from Mineirão, Raposa returned to play at Gigante da Pampulha after six months. The Celeste club received Fluminense, this Wednesday (10/5), for the fifth round of Serie A of the Brazilian Championship, and lost 2-0. However, the sports result was in the background when analyzing the disparity in the collection with box office of the games in Independência.

According to the financial bulletin for the match released by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), 51,846 fans packed the stands to welcome the team back home. The net income presented was R$ 1,577,927.44.

Also included in that amount is the sale of the boxes – one of the points demanded by Ronaldo Fenômeno to Minas Arena. In the agreement sealed between the parties on April 28, it was defined that the starred club would have a percentage on the revenue from sales of bars, prime areas and parking.
For the purposes of comparing the importance of Cruzeiro having Mineirão available, the amount collected against Fluminense was almost the same as the sum of all five home games in the Mineiro Championship (R$ 1,701,107.72). To reach that number, 30,944 more fans were needed.

Without the largest stadium in the State, Cruzeiro struggled to find a solution to send its games to the State. The celestial team played three times at Horto, once at Kléber Andrade, in Cariacica-ES, and once at Arena do Jacaré, in Sete Lagoas.
