Ziggo Sport to Broadcast MotoGP Sprint Live for the First Time

Ziggo Sport will broadcast the Saturday afternoon MotoGP Sprint live for the first time this coming weekend Ziggo Sport YouTube channel. The broadcast can also be followed live on channel 14 and Ziggo Sport Select.

MotoGP is the premier class of road racing. Since this year, MotoGP fans have been spoiled extra with a so-called Sprint on Saturday afternoon. The Sprint is a short race run over half the distance of that weekend’s regular Grand Prix race and counts towards the world title. In the four Sprints that have been held so far, it turned out that tactics hardly play a role: the Sprint means full throttle, from the switching off of the starting lights to the waving of the finish flag. From this weekend, the Sprint can not only be seen on channel 14 and Ziggo Sport Select, but Ziggo Sport will also broadcast the Sprint live on its YouTube channel.

Sprint in Le Mans
This Saturday at 3 p.m., defending champion Pecco Bagnaia and challengers such as eight-time world champion Marc Marquez, home favorite Fabio Quartararo and two-time Sprint winner Brad Binder will start their fifth Sprint of the year at the legendary circuit of Le Mans. Ziggo Sport commentator and the voice of MotoGP Frank Weeink provides the commentary. Presenter Rob van Gameren and 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Barry Veneman will take care of the preview from 2.30 pm. They also provide the analysis afterwards.

MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3
Ziggo Sport will be present live in Le Mans throughout the race weekend. In addition to the Sprint on Saturday, the training sessions from Friday, the qualifications on Saturday and the other races in Moto3, Moto2 and the premier class, MotoGP, can also be seen live and exclusively on Sunday at Ziggo Sport. Of course with extensive before and after considerations, analyses, reports and interviews from location.
