Vladko Dobrovodský, the two-time winner of the VyVolení reality show, is celebrating his forty-fifth birthday. The emotive hair-haired man, who has entered the consciousness of millions of Czechs, has not lived in his native country for several years. The former chef won the first ever competition in 2005, when he was 27 years old. He then appeared in the villa again in the summer of 2013 as a participant in the fourth series of VyVolených, and a few months later he again left it as the winner. What is he doing now?
Vladko Dobrovodský lasted 114 days during the first series in a villa where a group of people lived together and their every step was recorded by cameras. During the competition, he became known to the audience as an emotional long-haired brunette who entertained with his outbursts of temper, conflicts with others and hysterical scenes, but also as a sincere and perceptive guy who finally won the sympathy of the highest number of voters. In 2005, Jindřich Hovorka came in second place for the Chosen, Kateřina Langerová took third place.
As his first prize, he received from Prima TV, which broadcast the competition, prizes with a total value of 11 million crowns. As he wrote then Czech radio, it was an apartment in Prague’s Nová Harfa worth five million, a car for a million, four luxury tours, electronics for half a million, clothes for three hundred thousand crowns and an annual rent of 3.6 million crowns. In addition, he was given an armchair from the villa, in which he often sat and rocked during his stay. The reward for winning the fourth round of the competition was 5 million crowns.
Vladko tried his luck in show business
Vladko invested the money wisely and secured himself for old age. And as he told eXtra.cz a few years ago, he currently lives abroad. “I haven’t lived in the Czech Republic for a very long time, I don’t know what’s going on there. I only occasionally visit my mother, otherwise I don’t move around the Czech Republic at all,” he revealed at the time.
After his second participation in VyVoleny, Vladko tried a career in show business. For example, he planned acting courses, wanted to host and was looking forward to the future. But in the end he decided to travel away from the Czech Republic.
