This confirms to us that the Radeon RX 7600 will only have 8GB of memory, which may seem surprising when AMD mocks Nvidia for putting little graphics memory on its cards, and they are quite right. Although the RX 7600 will probably not be an asphalt ripper and it will depend quite a bit on where it will go with its performance at the interface of higher low-end and lower mainstream. If the performance is not too high, the 8GB memory may not be such a significant factor. While with the RTX 4060 it is quite likely that a small and slow memory will be a frequent limit for the chip’s performance, we do not know this yet with the RX 7600 and the question is how the performance will actually compare to the RTX 4060 (if the performance is the same or higher, it will this is also the same or an even bigger problem, if the Radeon’s performance is weaker, it may not be as limiting as with Nvidia).
The image appeared on the Videocardz server and a look at the details of the box reveals 32 CU (2048 cores), the presence of 32 MB of Infinity Cache as well as accelerators for RT and AI. A 128-bit memory bus is assumed to be used, the Navi 33 core could probably run around 2.6 GHz in Boost. The big question is the price. The leak talks about the amount 249 USD, which could mean a price of around 6,500 CZK including VAT. It remains to be seen whether it will go that low here, there are more options and the amounts of USD 279 (approx. CZK 7,000) or USD 299 (approx. CZK 7,500) are also likely to appear. In any case, it looks like the mainstream is reaching us again and remains at least at slightly more reasonable four-digit amounts (by the way, the RX 6600 is available here from around 5,500 CZK).
