The head of state was met at Johannesburg airport by a guard of honour

President Rumen Radev has arrived in the Republic of South Africa (South Africa) for his official visit to the country, the administration of the head of state announced.

The head of state was met at Johannesburg airport by a guard of honour. Radev will hold a meeting with RYU President Cyril Ramaphosa at his official residence in Pretoria.

During the visit of the Bulgarian head of state in Pretoria, a business forum will be held with the participation of representatives of 31 Bulgarian companies and industry organizations and their colleagues from the Republic of Bulgaria. In Freedom Park in the South African capital, President Radev will pay tribute to those who died in the struggle for freedom in South Africa and lay a wreath. Later, the head of state will open an exhibition at the Museum of Freedom “Bulgarian support for the struggle of the South African people against apartheid and social discrimination”.
