“LUKA Inaugurates First Malayalam Class in UK: Luca Malayalam School to be a Landmark for Association’s Activities”

London – The first Malayalam class and the formal inauguration of the Lukamalayam School started under the leadership of Luton Keralites Association (LUKA) in UK took place. Luca Malayalam School was inaugurated by Malayalam Mission UK Chapter President and Lok Kerala Sabha member C.A. Joseph performed. CA said that Luca Malayalam School, which is started with social responsibility for the growing children, will become the biggest landmark in the association’s activities. Joseph commented.

In the first class itself, the teachers sang the first letters of the Malayalam language by memorizing the children. When the teachers interacted with the children by showing pictures on the big screen, told interesting stories and told them the first letters and words of the Malayalam language, learning the Malayalam language gave the children a new experience.

The newly appointed president of the association, Aloysius Gabriel, presided over the function. He requested that the Malayalam class is conducted every Friday evening and music class and dance class are organized for the children at different times under the auspices of the association on that evening and the children should utilize the opportunity.

A panel of teachers including Matthew Varki, Betsy Joshua, GG Aloysius, Baby Kurian, Boban Jose, Priya Arun, Tom Jose and Rosamma Jose has been formed under the leadership of Association President Aloysius Gabriel, Secretary George Kurian and Treasurer Amit Mathew to carry forward the work of Luca Malayalam School smoothly. Betsy Joshua, also a past president, offered her greetings. Secretary George Kuryan welcomed all the people who participated in the event and former president Baby Kuryan thanked them.
