Trachtenkapelle Ottenschlag played pieces by local composers Reinhard Hörth and Rudolf Hofbauer.
Four conductors were in action at the spring concert of the Ottenschlag Trachtenkapelle (TKO). Kapellmeister Wolfgang Hackl and his daughter Eva as well as Simone Gölß and Christopher Holzer led the ensemble in one or more pieces. The program included titles by local composers such as Reinhard Hörth’s “Music Connects” and Rudolf Hofbauer’s “Friends of Music”.
Dominik Trachsler shone as a soloist on the soprano saxophone with a composition by Hans Hausl, who is his teacher at the Haydn Conservatory. At “Paris Montmartre” Reinhard Hörth (accordion), Simone Gölß (trumpet), Gerhard Katzinger (trombone) and Marco Fröstl (saxophone) showed their skills as soloists. Alexandra Jäger delighted the audience with her singing on “On the sunny side of the street”. Stephanie Rehberger, Lara Bock and Ulrike Höllmüller acted as moderators.
Thomas Pabisch (flugelhorn) and Sabrina Ochsenbauer (marketer) were newly admitted to the Ottenschlag Trachtenkapelle this year. Chairman Lukas Haider-Stern informed the audience about the next performances of the ensemble. The serenade will take place on Thursday, June 8th and Saturday, June 10th. At the radio morning pint on June 18 in Großnondorf, the traditional band will provide the musical accompaniment. The highlight of the year will be the district music festival with marching music, which will take place on Saturday, July 29, at the Oberer Teich festival site in Ottenschlag on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the band.
