The delegation of the national beach soccer team left yesterday for the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to participate in the 2023 Arab Cup, which is organized by the Arab Federation from May 11 to 20, with the participation of 12 teams.
The team delegation included 14 players: Muhammad Al Jasmi, Hamid Jamal, Abdul Rahman Muhammad, Haitham Al Kaabi, Walid Al Muhammadi, Ahmed Bishr, Walid Bishr, Abbas Ali, Abdullah Dehqani, Kamal Ali, Ali Al Muhammadi, Abdullah Abbas, Rashid Eid and Ahmed Malahi.
Abyad Beach prepared to participate in this tournament by playing four friendly matches against the national teams of Belarus and Russia during his camp, which was recently held in Dubai, after which he set up an external camp in Egypt from April 26 to May 9, during which the technical and administrative staff were keen to increase physical and technical readiness, and choose the list The final participation in the Arab Cup.
The tournament draw, which was held on April 16th, placed the national team in Group C with Kuwait, Libya and Comoros.
During the last camp in Egypt, homogeneity emerged among the team members, amid optimism about achieving positive results in the Arab Cup.
