“NATO to Hold Saber Guardian-23 Exercises in Romania with 10,000 Soldiers”

On the territory of Romania, it is planned to conduct new exercises of NATO member countries. They will be held at the end of May, and will end in early June of this year.

“About 10,000 soldiers from Romania and 13 allied and partner countries will take part in the Saber Guardian-23 exercise, which will take place from May 29 to June 9,” the statement said.

Representatives from Albania, Bulgaria, France, Georgia, Greece, Italy, North Macedonia, the Republic of Moldova, the Netherlands, Montenegro, Poland, Portugal and the USA will take part.

The main stages of the exercise will take place at training grounds and military facilities, as well as in settlements throughout the country. Starting from Thursday, May 11, the deployment of equipment and personnel will begin, which will move in columns along the roads, accompanied by military police crews to the training grounds.
