This is one of the recurring battles of the Paris Animals Zoopolis association (Paz): to denounce the presence of goldfish offered as prizes at fairgrounds. That of Chartres would not escape the rule, as would have noticed visitors who alerted the association.
Supporting photos, taken on Monday May 8, they informed the association that two duck fishing stands offered to win fish. Paz sent emails to the town hall of Chartres but also to the Departmental Directorate for the Protection of Populations (DDPP) to ask them to verbalize the managers of these stands.

The association has denounced about thirty cases of the same kind since the beginning of the year. The DDPP carried out an inspection of the duck fishing stands at the Chartres fairground, Wednesday afternoon, May 10, without discovering any goldfish. Sophie Beurel, municipal councilor delegated to the Animal in town, had, for her part, warned the association that the municipal police would go to “a call to order or even a verbalization if the fairgrounds were not receptive”.
