“Hanura Party Chairman Prays for Wiranto’s Acceptance in PAN”

Chairman of the Hanura Party, Oesman Sapta Odang (VERY) prayed for the former chairman of Hanura Wiranto accepted by the National Mandate Party (PAN).

“Hopefully PAN accepts him. I’ll be honest, pray for him to be accepted by PAN. And I pray soon, why? So that there will be no more confusion,” said OSO at the KPU Office, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (10/5 ).

OSO said that Wiranto, who is now chairman of the presidential advisory council, is nobody anymore. According to him, Wiranto also has no selling power anymore.

“So if someone gets fired at Hanura, that’s a pity, where do they want to sell it, it doesn’t sell well. Even if it does, the people who accept him are stupid,” he said.

Furthermore, the former chairman of the DPD said that Wiranto was no longer a member of Hanura since taking over the seat of the presidential advisory council.

“It’s been a long time since he was dismissed. After he was appointed to the Wantimpres (Presidential Advisory Council) he automatically left, after he got his ration,” he said.

Previously, Deputy Chairperson of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Viva Yoga Mauladi claimed that Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres) Wiranto had not abandoned his desire to join his party.

Viva said Wiranto’s plan to join PAN was waiting for the right moment.

“No cancellation,” said Viva to CNNIndonesia.comTuesday (9/5).

The former Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs was also introduced by PAN Secretary General Eddy Soeparno during the PAN National Coordination Meeting at the end of last February. Edi said that Wiranto would soon join the National Mandate Party (PAN).

Meanwhile, Wiranto’s attorney, Adi Warman, said that Wiranto had canceled joining PAN. Adi said there was no specific reason for Wiranto to cancel joining as a PAN cadre.
