LThe NBA unveiled the best defensive teams of the season and how could it be otherwise, the best defender, Jaren Jackson Jr. is the player who leads the votes. The one from the Grizzlies received 96 votes out of 100 possible in the best team, two more than Jrue Holiday and 11 more than Brook Lopez, the two representatives of the Bucks. Together with them, Evan Mobley (Cavs) and Alex Caruso (Bulls), complete the best defensive quintet in the NBA.
Dillon Brooks, Jackson’s teammate on the Grizzlies, OG Anunoby (Raptors), Draymond Green (Warriors), Bam Adebayo (Heat) and Derrick White (Celtics) were chosen for the second defensive team in the NBA.

It so happens that Giannis Antetokounmpo received more total votes (44) and points (60) than Adebayo (40 and 53 respectively), but the Bucks received them as a forward while the Heat did so as a pivot and that’s why ‘Bam Bam’ is in the second defensive team.
Jackson appears on the defensive first team for the second time in a row. Also for Lopez it is the second time of his career, although the first time in the best team of the season. More used is Holiday, fifth selection in the last six years.
