Last week’s two mass shootings in Serbia have sparked public anger and protests, as well as political bickering and accusations of using tragedies in party battles. Although the country’s president, Aleksandar Vučić, has demanded a 90% reduction in the number of firearms among citizens and an increased presence of police officers in schools, the participants of the protests that took place in the capital Belgrade and other Serbian cities on Monday demanded the resignation of ministers and other officials.
