Plastic caps are exchanged for resources and support various causes
He plastic lid recycling has become a great support for patients with disabilities or cancerand it is extremely important that society join campaigns such as “caps de Corazón”, which was launched in Rica’s picture with seven containers placed in public spaces.
Los containers will be installed in Parque Juárez, Parque Las Américas, Parque Fundadores, Parque Furberos, Plaza Cívica, Municipal Library “Francisco Lira Lara” and the Municipal Gymnasium, strategic places with easy access.
This Tuesday, municipal authorities carried out the project start that has been possible in coordination with different organizations such as CRIT VeracruzRotary Club, Lions Club, Full Life After Cancer and ROTARAC Club.
This initiative seeks to promote social welfare and environmental awareness through the collection of caps plastic, which will be recycled to support girls and boys with disabilities and in vulnerable situations.
It is worth mentioning that this is the first stage of container deliveries, with the objective of install a total of 20.
In addition, the City of Rica’s picturethrough the Department of Social and Human Development, maintains open the invitation to any organization, foundation or association that wishes to be part of it.
