“Ryanair Commits to Purchase 150 Boeing Aircraft with Option for 150 More in Historic Deal”

Boeing President and CEO Dave Calhoun said in a statement. He also added that this agreement is proof of the desire of both parties to continue the nearly quarter-century-long cooperation.

In addition to significant investments in the development of the fleet, the contract will allow the airline to create almost 10,000 new jobs in various segments such as crew, aircraft maintenance, and new pilots will join the company. The purchase of new aircraft is like another step towards the development of the company and increasing the range of operations. The company states that by 2034, the increase in the volume of traffic is planned by 80%.

New aircraft deliveries will allow the company to maintain one of the newest and most fuel-efficient aircraft fleets in Europe. It is planned that 150 B737-MAX-10 aircraft will replace the older model aircraft in the fleet.

“These new, fuel-efficient and greener technology aircraft offer 21% more seats, use 20% less fuel and are 50% quieter than our aircraft,”

Michael O’Leary, CEO of Ryanair Group, noted in a statement to the media, stating that the new order will allow the company to provide a sustainable increase in traffic and tourism at lower prices throughout Europe.
