White House Ends Vaccination Pass Obligation in the United States from May 11: Interview with Christopher Cozely in Tahiti

It is a decision that emanates from the White House, the one that puts an end to the obligation to present the vaccination pass on American territory, established on October 25, 2021 by President Joe Biden, who pushed the non-vaccinated to Polynesia to pass through Noumea or Australia to reach Metropolitan France.

The vaccination pass, which is compulsory to enter or transit through the United States, will no longer be compulsory from May 11 at midnight.

It is at Tahiti-Faa’a airport that we find the first concerned by the abolition of the obligation to present one’s vaccination pass at the American borders, and there is surprisingly no consensus within these travellers.

Some are relieved, others less surprised because even without having the complete vaccination schedule, they admit to having crossed the American border without any problem.

It is in a brand new consular agency that Christopher Cozely explains the ins and outs of this decision taken within the oval office, the consular agent of the United States knowing the enthusiasm of the Polynesians for the trip.

Listen to him, he responds to Inatio Raveino:

As a reminder, on April 10, 2023, his country had ratified a law adopted by Congress, “ending the national state of emergency linked to the covid-19 pandemic”.
