“Public Meeting on Citizen Consultation for Pedestrianization of Rue de Reims in Saint-Sulpice-la-Pointe”

Wednesday, May 10, from 7 p.m., go to the Georges Spénale room in Saint-Sulpice-la-Pointe for a public meeting concerning citizen consultation on the pedestrianization project for rue de Reims. As a reminder, the town hall of Saint-Sulpice-la-Pointe launched a reflection on the pedestrianization of rue de Reims several months ago, which is part of a more global project to revitalize the city center. The municipality’s ambition is to co-construct the system with residents, shopkeepers and street users. This is why two consultation workshops were organized by the Idées Communes agency last winter. Now it’s time to take stock. The last consultation workshop organized on December 5, 2022 was the subject of a report available on the City’s website. This document offers an overall and detailed view of all the contributions to the project, as well as a cross-sectional analysis which makes it possible to draw the first conclusions. The town hall of Saint-Sulpice-la-Pointe is pleased to invite the population to the public meeting to present the work of this last workshop, in order to discuss and continue the work undertaken. This public meeting will make it possible to take stock of the project and share the same level of information between residents. According to the municipality, the option chosen will be the subject of an experimentation phase in order to ascertain, or not, in practice, a coincidence between the intentions and the reality of the uses.
