What you can see near Gura Portiței

Only 39 kilometers away from the Enisala Citadel is the Bujorului Forest Reserve, located on the southern slope of the Bujorului Hill in the Babadag Plateau, near the Ciucurova commune. In this reserve, you will find a lot of peonies, so you will have the impression that you are on a huge, fragrant and sophisticated carpet of red color.

One of the reasons why Gura Portiței remains one of the few virgin areas on the Romanian coast is the fact that you cannot get here by car. The place, which was a simple fishing village in the past, is now known as a favorite tourist destination. Far from the crowd of Vama Veche, Gura Portiței is a paradise for those who love the wild and beautiful coastline.
