Minister of State Katja Meier is traveling to the United States of America as part of the Saxon delegation from May 7th to 12th at the invitation of Prime Minister Michael Kretschmer.

The highlight of their trip is an agreement on future cooperation between the Dresden Attorney General’s Office (GenStA) and the New York County District Attorney’s Office (DANY). this will Minister of Justice Meier along with Attorney General Uebele to meet with Alvin Bragg, who has served as New York District Attorney since early 2022.
