Jakarta –
Sandiaga Uno expressed his desire to fight together with his old PKS friends. Even so, Sandi mentioned that communication with PPP remained intense.
“As I said, in politics you have to build friendship, togetherness and talks, especially with old friends. PKS and I have been fighting for a long time since I started my career in politics and talks with PPP are also intense,” said Sandiaga Uno met after attending an interactive dialogue with creative economy actors in Bojonggede, Bogor, Sunday (7/5/2023).
“Later the time is determined we will convey it to media friends, but at this time the process is very gradual, natural and friendly. Because we have to make sure that this contest does not become divided between us, but our friendship must be continued, welcomed with joy,” he continued .
The former Gerindra cadre also said that communication with PPP was still going well and had been going on for about 9 months ago.
“There have been talks and the talks have been going on for almost 9 months, so it’s been gradual and has become a very friendly process,” said Sandiaga.
“I got a lot of input from kyai, clerics and clerics, so there’s no need to rush, let alone rush, because what we are fighting for is what the community needs,” he added.
Previously, Sandiaga Uno, who was predicted to join PPP, has now turned his back on praising his old friends in the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS). The former Gerindra cadre even expressed his wish to return to fighting together with his old friends at PKS.
“I’ve fought with PKS many times, and it’s been proven that PKS friends are fighting with heart, fighters who are very unyielding, tireless and feel like they want to fight again with PKS friends,” said Sandiaga Uno when met after attending Interactive Dialogue with Creative Economy Players in Bojonggede, Bogor, Sunday (7/5).
“PKS has an extraordinary commitment to the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, so hopefully if we pray, God willing, a way will be opened to fight together,” he added.
