A week before the presidential and parliamentary elections, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan calls opposition leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu “a drunk”.
It happened during a speech to several hundred thousand followers in Istanbul.
In the speech, Erdogan said that Kilicdaroglu “can drink as much as he wants”, but that the people will not leave the country to “a drunkard”.
He also repeated the accusations that the election opponent is collaborating with terrorists. He has previously claimed that Kilicdaroglu’s alliance, which consists of six parties, has ties to the militant Kurdish group PKK, something the election opponent denies.
