Jurgen Klopp Praises Mohamed Salah’s Historic Achievement as Liverpool Star Scores 100th Goal at Anfield

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Jurgen Klopp, coach of Liverpool FC, praised Mohamed Salah, after the latter led the “Reds” team to victory over Brentford, by scoring the only goal of the match.

The Egyptian star became the first player in Liverpool’s history to score in 9 consecutive matches on the team’s ground, and he also reached the 100th goal at Anfield.

The “Pharaohs” striker ranked fifth on the club’s top scorer list throughout history, with 186 goals, equal to former player Stephen Gerrard.

“I can’t see him stopping, that’s his nature, you have to have such a desire to score goals,” the German coach told Sky Sports about Salah. “But people often forget how many goals he scores.”

He continued by saying, “When he sits in the analytical studio in a few years as an analyst, everyone will know how good he was when we were all watching him. Many people do not appreciate players when they are still playing. For us, this is obvious. He is great at all times.”

Klopp also spoke in a press conference after the match, saying: “With the numbers that he makes, we all know that after his career he will be seen as one of the greatest players of all time, that is clear.”

And Jurgen Klopp concluded: “Playing requires hard work and Salah did that against Brentford. I like it very much how he really understands all the things we need to do.”
