“The Good Companies: A Film About the ’11 of Errentería’ and the Fight for Reproductive Rights”

The historic episode of the ’11 of Errentería’, in which a group of Basque women challenged the justice of the time after helping more than a thousand women to abort in safe and dignified conditions between 1977 and 1985, has been recovered in the good companies (2023).

The story focuses on the relationship between two young people from different social classes united by the need to perform an abortion and is not only a chronicle of historical reconstruction, but also explores the complex emotions and personal experiences of the protagonists and how they are affected. for their fight for the right to decide over their own bodies.
