“Cat Hero Saves Diabetic Owner from Coma and Becomes National Sensation”

A cat saved its owner from a coma and became famous throughout the country

A cat that saved its diabetic owner from a coma has become a finalist in the National Cat Awards and famous across the country. The information was reported by Sky News.
Amanda Jameson, 51, from Liverpool, UK, who suffers from diabetes, passed out one night after going to bed with very low blood sugar.

After this happened, her cat Willow began biting the legs and jumping on Ray Sherwood, 57, Jameson’s partner, who was asleep in front of the TV. She woke the man and took him to the bedroom, where Sherwood found Jameson unresponsive to sound and touch. The man called an ambulance.

” It wasn’t typical of Willow at all, so I decided to get up and see what was making her act like this. She was running between me and the stairs. I started to climb, and the cat kept looking back to make sure I was following her. In the bedroom she jumped on the bed and I knew something was wrong with Amanda,” said Ray Sherwood, Willow’s owner’s partner.

The cat was nominated for the heroic rescue of its owner at the National Cat Awards. There are four categories in this competition for special pets: “fellow cats”, “family members”, “furry wonders” and “social media celebrities”.

Willow was nominated in the “furry wonders” category. Along with her in this category were Dali the cat, who was found on the rocks in the middle of a river, and Bo the cat, who supports his master David, who suffers from an incurable form of leukemia.

The public can vote until June 30, and the winners will be announced on July 17. Of the three thousand participants, only 12 unusual cats made it to the finals.
