Yakup Hasibuan and Jessica Mila are happy because they just got married. Not only them, Otto Hasibuan, father of Yakup Hasibuan felt the same way.
To the child, Otto Hasibuan conveyed a message of hope. The famous lawyer didn’t expect much, he just wanted Yakup Hasibuan to remember his God.
“Keep on fearing God because fearing God is the beginning of knowledge,” said Otto Hasibuan when contacted by the media crew, a few days ago.
On that occasion, Otto Hasibuan also conveyed another wish that had been granted by his son. He has a wish for the marriage of Yakup Hasibuan and Jessica Mila to be held according to the customs of his native region.
“From us parents really hope that the event will be carried out according to Batak custom,” said Otto Hasibuan.
According to Otto Hasibuan, the Batak customs that are applied at a wedding are not just a complement. He mentioned that there is a deep meaning from the series of events.
“The Batak tradition depicts love and brotherhood,” said Otto Hasibuan.
He also added that there is hope tucked in so that the child does not forget his hometown.
“Despite going to school as high as the sky, Batak customs and Indonesian culture must still be upheld,” he said.
Yakup Hasibuan and Jessica Mila tied the knot on Friday, 5 May 2023 at HKBP Rawamangun, East Jakarta. They held a wedding reception the day after in the Kelapa Gading area, North Jakarta.
