“Driver Hospitalized After Three-Car Accident in Lützelflüh-Goldbach”

On Friday shortly after noon, an accident involving three cars occurred in Lützelflüh-Goldbach. A woman was injured. She had to be taken to the hospital.

The accident happened on Brandisstrasse in Lützelflüh-Goldbach, according to the Bern canton police. According to initial findings, a car was driving from Rüegsau in the direction of Lützelflüh. At the same time, a tractor drove in the other direction, followed by two cars.

This motorcade was overtaken by a motorcycle. As a result, for reasons that are still unclear, there was a side-frontal collision between the car that was driving in the direction of Lützelflüh and the two cars driving behind the tractor.

The driver of the car, which was driving directly behind the tractor, had to be rescued from the vehicle by the fire brigade. She was injured and taken to the hospital. Another person involved in the accident was also taken to a hospital to be checked.
