“The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Snapchat, Instagram and Facebook Filter Review”

As the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the KingdomNintendo has collaborated with Snapchat, Instagram and Facebook to offer an exclusive game-related photo/video filter.

Aptly named “Adventure Awaits”, this filter features a stylized countdown timer and the game’s emblem.

We tried the experiment and the result is nice, but there is nothing to be ecstatic about either. It’s a fun way to promote the most anticipated video game release of 2023.

What did we think of it?

We tested on Instagram because we’re too old for Snapchat and too young for Facebook, but the results will be pretty much the same.

It’s actually a countdown, announcing the release of Tears of the Kingdom. As the name suggests, it counts days, hours, minutes, and (somewhat unnecessarily) seconds. Nobody knows why it is necessary to know the release date to the nearest second. Be serious, smile, or have your cat test it, it’s up to you.

How to get the filter?

On Snapachat, enthusiasts can unlock it by scanning a Snapcode in the app or visiting Nintendo’s profile.

The Tears of the Kingdom filter is also accessible on Facebook and Instagram. To get it, visit the @NintendoAmerica profile on either platform and select the “Effects” tab. Save it to find it more easily.

The video game marketing campaign Tears of the Kingdom has intensified in recent months, unfortunately suffering numerous leaks. For those who managed to get through the various spoiler drops, congratulations, there’s only one week left to wait.
