Representative Michel Daher tweeted on his account via “Twitter”, writing: “The Lebanese agricultural sector is witnessing a massive attack by Syrian farmers and merchants, which begins with cultivation and the guarantee of agricultural lands and does not end with the retail sale of agricultural products to the consumer.”

He added, “This precedent entitles the Syrian merchant to fully control the agricultural cycle as a result of the unavailability of bank loans to Lebanese farmers after the commercial banks gave up playing this role.”
