Perpetrator of Jakarta Shooting Died of Heart Attack, Autopsy Confirms

The cause of death of Mustopa, the perpetrator shooting at the Central Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) office in Jakarta, it was revealed. The National Police Forensic doctor team revealed that the perpetrator died of a heart attack.

“So we, the team of forensic doctors, concluded that this victim had indeed died of a heart attack which was compounded by an infectious disease in his lungs,” said Dr. /5/2023).

Arfiani said, from the autopsy it was found that there were a number of wounds on the body Mustopa. However, according to him, the wound did not cause death.



“These injuries do not have the potential to cause death. So there are shallow open wounds on the lip and knee, then there are small abrasions on the cheek of the left hand and both lower limbs and there is bruising accompanied by swelling on the cheek,” he said.

He continued, then from further examination, found indications of infection in Mustopa’s lungs and indications of a heart attack. From there, said Arfiani, it was concluded that the shooter died of a heart attack.

“Then from the internal examination. We found a picture of an infection in the lungs and there was a picture heart attack,” concluded Afriani.
