‘The First Time’ has become a trend after being a success in recent months on the platform and thanks to this, its protagonists too. Thanks to the ‘boom’ in social networks, several have had the opportunity to offer interviews and reveal details that few knew about their personal lives. On this occasion, Emmanuel Restrepo ended up revealing details that he himself could not believe.

Throughout his life, Emmanuel not only dedicated himself to acting, but he grew up with a definite sexual orientation from a young age, as he stated that he believed that after dating so many men, he was clear that he was gay. But it was not like that, and there was a woman who, as he himself said, knocked down all the pillars.
Through an interview for Diva Rebeca, a character created by Omar Vásquez, revealed that Camila Jurado had always been his platonic love, because she was too pretty and talented and he considered her an impossible girl.
However, it was at a party in a bar in Bogotá where things changed:
“I felt like a school boy falling for a girl, but it wasn’t from school. I said ‘hi, thank you very much for coming’ and she was like ‘ok, good’. We started dancing and obviously there was great tension, I was very nervous. The fact is that we ended up kissing, she told me, ‘Can I ask you a question? Can I give you a kiss?’, and then I don’t remember if I gave it to her or she gave it to me, we could never agree Okay, everything clouded over for me.”

The reaction of his friends was the same, because no one could believe what they were seeing, and it was precisely something they never expected from Emmanuel, who had been declaring himself gay all his life, “Everyone was very surprised, but those tips from my friends were incredible, because, to be honest, they led me to make the decision to be with Cami”
