Brad Pitt is preparing a film from the world of Formula 1. In Silverstone, he will sit in a real car for the first time during the weekend.
According to Will Buxton, directors Jerry Bruckheimer and Joseph Kosinski will “create” an eleventh Formula 1 team as part of the shoot.
They have developed the smallest possible 6K camera, which should put the viewer in the cockpit of a real car.
Brad Pitt is to sit in it for the first time during the Silverstone weekend, and he will actually drive it. The car was designed by Mercedes and its track tests are already underway (see video).
Lewis Hamilton is in daily communication advising on story and script to ensure this is the most accurate racing film ever made.
We don’t yet know the details of exactly how Pitt will be with the other drivers on the track. Of course, it cannot be expected that he would enter the qualification or even the race.
