“8Bitdo Unveils Affordable Ultimate C 2.4G Wireless Controller: Compatible with Windows, Android, Steam Deck, and Raspberry Pi”

8Bitdo, the popular gamepad maker, has recently launched a cheaper version of its highly-acclaimed Ultimate Controller. The new Ultimate C 2.4G Wireless Controller is a wireless accessory priced at $30 and comes in two color variants- purple and green. This controller is compatible with Windows, Android, Steam Deck, and Raspberry Pi making it the perfect accessory for gamers on-the-go.

Using an included 2.4GHz USB dongle, the Ultimate C 2.4G Wireless Controller wirelessly connects to your device. The company describes it as a “simplified” version of the popular Ultimate series of controllers that still offers the same quality as its expensive counterparts. By cutting out the charging dock and profile-toggling switch from the pricier variants, 8Bitdo has managed to scale back production costs without affecting the controller’s performance.

Apart from offering excellent gameplay, the controller boasts a long battery life of 25 hours and can recharge fully in just two hours. Additionally, it supports asymmetrical rumble, although vibration feedback works only on Windows. The controller can also be used in wired mode and is plug-and-play on PC.

Launched last year, the Ultimate line of controllers marks 8Bitdo’s expansion into modern console-style controllers, including asymmetric stick layouts, similar to that of the Xbox. The 2.5GHz version is still available for $50, while the Bluetooth variant retails at $70. If you are interested in the new Ultimate C 2.4G Wireless Controller, you can pre-order it from Amazon, with the official release date being scheduled for May 31st.
