Damascus Governorate invites owners of taxis, heavy equipment and generators to subscribe to the electronic tracking system

As a complement to the installation of electronic tracking devices for means of transport and mechanisms to control the distribution of fuel, the Damascus Governorate called on owners of taxis and other tourist vehicles to subscribe to the electronic tracking system service before the end of next June.

In today’s announcement, the governorate also called on the owners of heavy equipment and machinery, and generators that obtain oil derivatives from the Fuel Committee in Damascus, to subscribe to the electronic tracking system service before the end of next month.

According to the advertisement, the installation fee for the electronic tracking device is paid, along with the subscription fee for it, at any branch of the Commercial Bank in Damascus Governorate.

Applications are submitted to the Directorate of Traffic and Transportation Engineering at the Service Complex in Kafr Soussa, accompanied by notices of payment of the price of the device, the subscription fee, and a double-sided copy of the “mechanic” driving license, in addition to a copy of the vehicle owner’s personal identification card with the mobile number.

The governorate indicated that the supply of fuel will be stopped for the machinery and equipment whose owners delay in subscribing after the aforementioned date.
