The Philippine Information Agency’s (PIA) Regional Office in Cagayan Valley, under the leadership of PIA Director-General and Undersecretary Ramon Lee Cualoping III and Cagayan Third District Representative Joseph ‘Pulsar’ Lasam Lara, has inaugurated a new building at the Regional Government Center in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. This move aims to ensure continuous infrastructure improvements to efficiently deliver information to the grassroots level.
The new building will serve as the regional office of PIA, as well as the Provincial Information Center of Cagayan. It features a state-of-the-art studio, a backup server space, and separate dormitories for both male and female employees. The event was attended by PIA Deputy Director-General for Regional Operations and Unified Messaging Asec. Katherine S. De Castro, Director-General for Knowledge Management Deputy Director-General Nicole Managbanag, and PIA Region II employees.
This development communication hub was made possible through the initiative of the Office of the Cagayan Third District Representative Joseph ‘Pulsar’ Lasam Lara, and the Department of Public Works and Highways Cagayan Third District Engineering Office.
