The Norwegian striker at English club Manchester City, Erling Haaland, on Wednesday evening, broke the record for the number of goals scored by a player in one season in the English Premier League.
Haaland, 22, scored his 35th goal this season in the Premier League during Manchester City’s match against West Ham, which ended 3-0.
Haaland scored the second goal for his team in the 70th minute of the postponed match from the 28th stage of the league.
The Norwegian striker just held the record for the largest number of goals by one player in one season in the English championship, registered on behalf of players Andy Cole (1993-1994) and Alan Shearer (1994-1995), last Sunday, when he scored a goal against Fulham.
With the goal he scored in Fulham, Haaland broke a record that had stood for 92 years.
He became the first player to score more than 50 goals in all competitions in one season in nearly a century.
