Foreign media reported on the 3rd (local time) that Nokia’s latest rugged smartphone ‘XR21’ has obtained Mil-Spec (MIL-STD-810H) and IP69K certification, a military standard of the US Department of Defense.
Milspec means that it has durability at the military standard level, and IP69K rating means that it has the highest level of protection system from high temperature and high pressure.
The main specifications of the Nokia XR21 include a 6.49-inch IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G processor, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, and a 4800mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
It comes with dual cameras, including a 16MP selfie camera on the front punch hole and a 64MP main camera on the back, while also supporting a side fingerprint sensor, eSIM, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It weighs about 235g.
The ‘XR21 5G’ is expected to be released in Europe in early June.
