Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Russian President Vladimir Putin’s residence in the Kremlin attacked by drones. There was no mention of the exact incident, but it is believed to have taken place on Tuesday midnight or Wednesday (3/5/2023) in the morning.
This incident is written AFP, called Russia an assassination attempt on the president. This comes amid Russia’s preparations for World War II Victory Day celebrations, May 9.
However, the two flying drones were shot down by Putin’s troops. No one was injured including the president.
Russian media RIA said Putin was not in the Kremlin at the time and was working on Wednesday at his Novo Ogaryovo residence outside Moscow. “The Russian side reserves the right to take retaliatory measures wherever and whenever it deems necessary,” the Kremlin said.
Meanwhile, from the CCTV footage obtained Reuters, you can see flames hitting the roof of Putin’s residence in the Kremlin. But, unfortunately, there has been no verification from the Kremlin.
