“Denzel Washington turns down Marvel’s offer to play supervillain in Fantastic Four reboot”

All that glitters in Marvel is not gold. It seems that not all Hollywood actors are up for the task of joining the MCU and enjoying it.

Marvel has run out of a great actor. According to the journalist Grace RandolphDenzel Washington has reportedly turned down the studio’s offer to play a MCU supervillain in the 2025 Fantastic Four reboot. Denzel Washington reportedly turned down the chance to play the iconic villain Galactus in the Matt Shakman-directed film.

Another My Time To Shine rumor claimed that Marvel Studios is in talks with Antonio Banderas to bring the world eater to the big screen. It’s important to note that Randolph’s track record is very spotty, so it’s not known how accurate it is. Neither Kevin Feige’s studio nor Disney have commented on any of the rumors. Still, it would be a shame if Denzel Washington had turned down the MCU. It would have been a great signing.

Will we see Galactus in the ‘Fantastic 4’ movie?

Galactus en Marvel Studios

It has been rumored for a long time that Galactus will be the great villain of the next reboot of Marvel Studios’ Fantastic 4. Rumors even indicate that the dangerous force of nature will bring with it a new herald. While it’s sad that someone as talented as Denzel Washington won’t be a part of the film, there are plenty of other MCU roles he could land in the future. That is if he is about to sign a contract with the study chaired by Kevin Feige. Perhaps he has rejected this role because he was not interested in it. But you may be interested in others. For example, he could play Professor X or Magneto in the new generation of mutants. Or maybe put on his own costume and become a cosmic superhero or some interesting novelty of the next few years.
