iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max to feature Thunderbolt 3 with surprise 4K output, according to leaked information

Apple’s upcoming iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models are set to feature USB-C ports that offer lightning-fast data transfer speeds, according to anonymous insider analyst941. The ports will be Thunderbolt 3 and could be capable of up to 40Gbps data transfer speeds, a vast improvement compared to USB 2.0 speeds of the current iPhones’ Lightning port. In addition to speed, the new port will allow for 4K output to monitors, with special features in iOS 17 designed to support this capability. These new features may include multi-display support that is similar to iPad Pros. With this upgrade, iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max owners can quickly transfer large files for ProRAW photography and ProRES video. Along with the USB-C port, the iPhone 15 is expected to feature a more curved design, a lightweight titanium chassis, periscopic zoom camera, and potential price hikes. Another update on Apple’s plans via Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reveals that Apple is said to be developing an AI-driven virtual trainer, codenamed Quartz for next year’s iPhone and Apple Watch 8. However, the latest news indicates that only the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max will feature upgrades to Wi-Fi 6E, with the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus missing out despite the new standard being described as the most disruptive boon for Wi-Fi users in the last 20 years.
