“Laskana Annual Report 2021: Increase in Turnover Explained by Wood Prices”

The management report of the company’s annual report states that the increase in turnover is mainly explained by the increase in wood prices in the second half of the year, as well as the increase in sales volumes and revenues from the services provided.

The management report emphasizes that the main goal of the company in 2023 is to ensure increased wood trade to Europe, as well as to increase the proportion of services provided.

The turnover of “Laskana” in 2021 was 14.538 million euros, which is 29.6% more than a year earlier, while the company’s profit decreased by 8.1% and was 567,449 euros.

“Laskana” was registered in 1993, and its share capital is 1.14 million euros. 50% of the company’s capital belongs to the Swedish “Ruthstorm Holding” and 22.54% to AS “LBA Holding”. Similarly, eight private individuals own the capital shares of the company, including 9.39% owned by Liene Vēsmiņa, 7.89% by Krišjānis Vēsmiņi and 4.12% by Lāsma Gustovska.
