Ticket sales for the XXVII General Latvian Song and XVII Dance Festival (hereinafter referred to as “Svetki”) events will gradually start from May 15, while tickets for previous reservations, including at the box office, will be available from May 22. Ticket sales will be provided by SIA “Biļešu paradīze”.
The total number of tickets for the Celebration events is 174,000, of which 74% will be released to the general public, 25% will be reserved and 1% will be reserved for invitations. 43,000 tickets will be sold in advance, of which the majority – 79% – are reserved for the participants of the Festival, 12% for large families with an “Honorary Family Card”, 3% for municipalities, 6% for other groups.
The capacity of the Mežaparks stage is 30,557 seats. 91% of the number of seats for the final concert “Together Up” will be available for public sale, 7% will be reserved for pre-booking and 2% for invitations, on the other hand, there are 31,362 seats for the three major dance concerts “Eternal Engine”, of which 77% will be available for public sale. 22% reserved for advance booking, incl. for the participants themselves, 1% will be allocated for invitations. The dress rehearsal of the dance performance is entirely reserved for concert participants in advance booking.
Ticket prices start from 5 euros
Ticket prices for Holiday events will range from 5 to 100 euros: Ticket prices for sacred music concerts will be from 15 to 35 euros, folk art exhibitions – 5 euros. During the procession, seats in the audience stands will cost 25 euros (a similar experience was also in 2018 and 2013), while entrance to the Opening Concert of the Holidays will cost 40 euros (free entry for the participants of the Festival, upon presentation of the member’s card). Tickets for the big dance concert “Balts” will cost from 20 to 70 euros, the conductors’ choir concert “Conductor” – from 15 to 30 euros, the tickets for the woodwind night concerts “Gaismas dārzs” and “Nakts dziesma” will cost from 12 to 20 euros. Tickets for “Songs of the Sun in Canvas” will cost from 12 to 25 euros, for the vocal symphonic music concert “Shūpulis” – from 20 to 90 euros. Tickets for the contemporary music concert “Skaņu portreti” by the vocal ensembles and the spiritual music concert by the vocal ensembles “God. Nature. Man” will cost from 15 to 25 euros, Latvian folk costume show “Mēnesnāki” – from 15 to 25 euros, brass band concert “Laiks iet pāri” and Zaļumballe tickets – 10 euros, choir concert “Tīrums. “Song Road” dress rehearsal – from 15 to 40 euros, while the choir concert “Tīrums. Song path” – from 15 to 70 euros. The big woodwind music concert “Laika upe” – from 15 to 25 euros, the brass band’s Latvian music concert “Partitūra svetkiem” – from 10 to 20 euros, the folk music concert “Trejdeviņi spēlmanīši” – from 15 to 30 euros, the big dance performance “The Eternal Engine” – from 20 to 100 euros, children’s and youth vocal ensembles’ concert “I want to tell you something” – from 7 to 12 euros, dress rehearsal tickets for the final concert “Together Up” will cost from 15 to 45 euros, for the final concert “Together Up” – from 20 to 100 euros, while tickets for the singing night will cost 10 euros.
A 10% discount will be applied to holders of the Latvian Honor family card, persons with I, II or III disability group, upon presentation of the appropriate certificate, and politically repressed persons, upon presentation of the appropriate certificate.
From May 15 it will be possible to buy tickets online for 15 events: Sacred music concert, conductor’s choir concert “Conductor”, seats in the tribune during the Holiday procession, Holiday Opening concert, vocal ensembles’ contemporary music concert “Skaņu portreti”, vocal ensembles’ sacred music concert “Dievs. Nature. Cilvēks”, children’s and youth vocal ensembles’ concert “I want to tell you something”, brass band concert “Laiks iet pāri” and brass band’s Latvian music concert “Partitūra svetkiem”, wooden music concert “Laika upe” and night concerts – “Gaismas garden ” and “Nakts dziesma”, minority group concert “Songs of the Sun on Canvas”, vocal symphonic music concert “Shūpulis”, folk costume show “Mēnesnāki” and folk music concert “Trejdeviņi spēlmanīši”.
From May 17 tickets for dance concerts will be available to buyers in online sales: the big concert “Balts” in Arena Riga and the big performance “Eternal Engine” in Daugava Stadium.
From May 19 tickets for the choir concert “Tīrums” and its dress rehearsal, the final concert “Kopā Augšup” and its dress rehearsal, as well as the Night of Singing will be available for sale on the Internet (the holders of tickets for the final concert do not need to purchase separate tickets).
From May 22 tickets that will not be redeemed online will also be available at the box office, as well as the possibility to redeem tickets in a previous reservation. From June 12 will be able to redeem the tickets applied for in the previous reservation, which will not be redeemed.
Ticket Policy
A maximum of 4 (four) tickets for one event can be purchased at one time of purchase. The total number of tickets to be purchased in one purchase is 20 (twenty). All pre-booked tickets that will not be redeemed will go on public sale on June 12. In cooperation with the Society Integration Fund, large families with Latvian Honorary Family Certificates were given the opportunity to apply for tickets in the previous reservation for a number of tickets greater than 4.
