“Embassy of Russia Organizes Immortal Regiment in Kinshasa, DRC for Third Time”

The Embassy of the Russian Federation organized the action “Immortal Regiment” in the capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kinshasa.

Direct speech: “On May 1, in the DR Congo, the embassy organized the Immortal Regiment action for the third time. About a hundred people marched through the streets of Kinshasa, among them – the staff (of the embassy – ed.), compatriots, Russian military observers and police of the UN Stabilization Mission in DRC and Russian-sympathetic Congolese.”

Details: In a video released by the mouthpiece of the Kremlin, members of the Immortal Regiment march with placards, red banners and a large unfurled Russian flag.

It is noted that local musicians performed the Soviet song of the war years – “Katyusha” to the accompaniment of violins.
