CNN announced that former President Donald Trump will participate in a citizens’ forum next week in New Hampshire.
The event will take place on May 10 at St. Anselm College. Trump will take questions from New Hampshire Republicans and people planning to vote in the 2024 presidential primary, the news network reported.
The moderator will be Kaitlan Collins, from the program “CNN This Morning”. It was not reported when the event will be broadcast.
When he was president, Trump was a frequent critic of CNN. The fact that he is programming the event with that channel indicates that he is trying to reach out to Republican voters; in recent weeks he has given interviews to Fox News.
Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung declined to comment on the announcement.
